Opossums are mainly nuisance animals that carry fleas, diseases and parasites like raccoons. They often hide under decks, sheds or in window wells. Opossums are omnivores meaning they will eat almost anything ranging from bugs or meats to plants. Opossums will often be attracted to a property because of pet food left outside, garbage cans without lids, or a compost pile. Be very careful to not be bitten by opossums because their saliva carries many different kinds of bacteria. Opossums also carry fleas and if living around your home the chances of your pets getting fleas is much higher!
We can physically remove an opossum if they are accessible or live trap and remove an animal if it is not present at our visit.
